a test conversation

Hey,I’m sitting here on my couch listening to an all 80’s radio station on iTunes and thought I’d write a little blog and let you all know that the new season of the Sarah Silverman Program starts this week.  Tune in to Comedy Central on Wednesday 10/8 at 10:30 p.m. right after a brand new episode of South Park.  And if that isn’t enough for you then just tune in again the next night (10/9) at the same time and see ANOTHER new episode in our regular time slot. This season is our best yet.  10 episodes of awesome ha ha.  Tell your friends and I’ll see ya on the TV! Steve

Sorry I don’t blog here as much as I should.  The problem is that I go for a while without blogging and then when I finally want to write something I come here and can’t remember my user name or password.  Then I think, “Fuck it, I’ll try again later.”  Later = 3 months.    I don’t even know if people really read this blog.  My website is seriously lacking in, well, in everything.  So why even come to the site if there’s nothing to see except for the occasional blog?  So, to those of you who do subscribe or check in now and then, thank you.  I’ll try and do better.  I’ll also bug my web designer to get some pics and video up soon. In the meantime, here’s what’s going on with me.  We’re almost done shooting the second half of season 2 for the Sarah Silverman Program.  10 new episodes will start airing on Oct. 1st.  I’m really REALLY excited.  These are some of the best episodes we’ve ever done!  The writers strike really screwed us over, as far as time is concerned.  It’s been forever since we’ve been on the air.  I promise you, however, the wait will be worth it.  Oh, and look for the first half of season 2 to be released on DVD this fall. To all you comic book nerds, myself and the cast of the Sarah Silverman Program will be at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 26th doing a panel.  If you’re around, stop by and check it out.  We’ll be showing a highlight reel of the new season and taking questions.   OK, I think that should just about do it for now.  I have to go turn on the AC (we’re in the middle of a heat wave here in So Cal).   Thanks for stopping by,Steve

I really don’t have a lot to write (umm, I mean blog) about.  I just kind of feel guilty that most of my blogs have been going up on myspace rather than here.So this is my first blog on my website in 2008.  I guess I should catch you all up to speed.  The writers strike is over, as I’m sure you all know.  That means we’re getting back to work on the second half of season 2 of the Sarah Silverman Program.   Our awesome writers have been hard at work and we are scheduled to start shooting on April 21st.  We’ll be done towards the end of June and then the rest of the summer will be spent editing.  New shows will premiere Oct. 1st.I’ve moved out of the Valley and now I’m living in the Hollywood Hills.  It sounds more glamorous than it really is (who knows?  maybe it doesn’t even sound glamorous at all.) my friends.  I have to deal with a lot of traffic from tourists who are trying to find a way up to the Hollywood sign and a skunk that’s digging up my small yard and occasionally spraying his skunk stink all over the place.  I turned 39 about three weeks ago.  Guess what God gave me for my birthday?  Lactose intolerance!  Not a good birthday present when, for the past 3 decades, your favorite foods have in some form or another come out of a cow’s titties!  What else?  Hmmm, I guess that’s about it.  Trying to keep busy while waiting for production to startup.  Maybe I’ll be able to squeeze out a few more blogs before then.  I can at least try.Take care, darlings!

A year ago President Bush announced that we would have an operational space station on the moon. I’ll be about 62 years old when that happens. I’d like to take this moment to volunteer to be one of the inhabitants.

Of course I will be of no use to NASA on the lunar space station. I just think the moon would be a nice place to die.

I just fucking moved into a new house (OK, guest house) and already it looks like I’ve lived here for 5 years and have never cleaned the place once.

It looks like I paid to have a maid come over and clean….and then killed her when she walked in the door and buried her old, dead bones under the mess that I originally wanted her to clean.

Thank you for reading my blog.
I love you.

Hello kids and old people,

Here I am posting my second blog on my brand new website (thanks to Mary Forrest for all her hard web-work).

I’m really excited and want to post a thousand blogs tonight. There’s a lot going on right now and I’m about to lay it on you.

Season 2 of the Sarah Silverman Program starts TONIGHT!! Yes tonight, after the season premiere of South Park (maybe you’ve heard of that show). Check your local times and listings. It’s on Comedy Central and, depending on your cable provider, it’ll be 10:30 or 7:30. What’s that you say? You don’t get Comedy Central? Ugh. I suppose you don’t own a microwave either and you still have to get your water from a well out in the yard. Fine, I’ve got some other news that you can maybe use.

Season 1 of the show just came out on DVD yesterday. Go buy it. Enjoy it too. There are some cool features. I also got to record commentary with Brian Posehn on three episodes. What’s that you say? You don’t have a DVD player? What the fuck is wrong with you? No Comedy Central and no DVD player? How are you even reading this blog? I’m sure you don’t have a computer either.

OK, some of you are pissing me off now with your lack of recent technology, so I’m going to go.

Thanks for reading this. I love you.
Steve
